Ron Henderson and Landscape Architecture students lead Netsch Lecture Series workshop

Friends of the Parks invited IIT Master of Landscape Architecture students led by Professor Ron Henderson to investigate scenarios for the Calumet River Combined Disposal Facility. The workshop drew insights from a wide array of neighbors and regional experts to inspire continued resistance to the Army Corps of Engineers proposal to keep the facility open and keep polluting the region rather than build a park which was legislated almost forty years ago.
